The lord bless Charlie Mopps!
I love beer. So when I seen that a beer blog I had frequented was going to be no longer, I was sad. But, alas, Lyssa Beyer has set up a new beer blog following her internship at a local newspaper. That's right, a beer blog on a local newspaper website. It's Wisconsin, what do you expect?
And, in honor of beer blogging, a favorite of mine:
Happy Friday!

That was lovely. I prefer wine most days but I do like beer. My husband, however, is a solid beer fan. He has his favorites. Always imported and usually lighter (as in not dark). We had some people over a couple weekends ago who seemed to think that they were really cool because they only drink dark beer They informed us that when you become a sophisticated beer drinker you drink dark only... kind of like when you are a "sophisticated wine drinker" you drink only red. (They drank only red). I think they're idiots. While it is true that there are some good dark beers out there that take beer drinking experience to fully appreciate and that the best wines are often red. I drink whatever tastes good(that's what the really cool people do.)
(wow why such a long comment?)
Sophisticated beer drinker? Uh... I've tried many a beer and my favorites actually tend to be ambers. I don't even really like dark beers all that much. A good nutty brown is nice once in a while, but it's hard to drink more than a couple in one sitting.
And I hate red wine :)
Thank you for a very informative articles.
